With dual Thunderbolt 3 interfaces (40 Gbps) and a hardware RAID controller, it achieves transfer speeds of 1600 MB/s in RAID 0 and 1440 MB/s in RAID 5. Ideal for rapid video workflows, it supports 4K/8K video editing and ProRes 422 (HQ) and 4444 XQ. High scalability allows daisy-chaining of up to six D8 Thunderbolt 3 devices for an 800TB capacity. Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 2 (for Mac), it features an aluminum casing, smart fans, and multiple RAID modes, ensuring data security and efficient storage utilization.
